Halifax losses - 14/15 Jan 1944
On this night 496 Lancaster and 2 Halifax bombers raided Brunswick. A crash site near there has found a 4 engine bomber with Herc engines. Most think the a/c is a Lancaster Mk II but is it possible that it is one of the Hallies?
Tony Wood's site says only 4 engine a/c. Any info on the Hallies taking part that night? |

Thanks Chris G. This is related to Chris M's thread and thought he might see it better if not buried in his thread on the Herc engines.
