[VVS] Viktor Kalinovski's claims

Hello,

I know that there is a big problem with tracing claims of Soviet fighter pilots, but I noticed that in some cases it is possible. For example, there are some biographies of Russian aces with list of claims included, published on this website: airaces.narod.ru.

I am looking for list of claims (date - aircraft flown - aircraft shot down) of Soviet ace Viktor Stanislavovich Kalinovski, who flew with: 233 IAP, 153 IAP and 1 (Polish) IAP. I have found just the records from 1 (Polish) IAP.

Is it possible to find somehow this information?

Best regards
Wojtek

Stalin's Falcons by Polak and Shores lists him as having credit for 12 but only list 2 with details, both in April 1945. Stalin's Eagles by Seidl does not have him listed.

Hi,

thanks a lot for these details. Is it clear in which unit Kalinovski shot down the FW 190 in December 1943?:
15/12/43 1 FW 190 Istovka
According to the postings you wrote above he served in this month both at 233 IAP and at 133 IAP.

Could you please tell me what is the source of this information?

Thanks!
Wojtek

Mikhail Bykov's book "Советские Асы 1941-1945 Победы Сталинских Соколв" 2008. He did all his research in the Russian Archives for the book. Sadly, it's only in Russian.
