3 German airmen
Today I found (while searching something else, as usual on the Net) a site listing the 600+ WWII dead of a German town. The man who made this part of the site met tens of family and obtained pictures and sometimes letter announcing the death of the casualties.
In the list there are 3 Luftwaffe airmen (at least): Uffz Bernhard Böcker, died 26.02.1944, picture provided http://www.stimbergstadt.de/Krieg/Ge...r-Bernhard.htm Uffz Theodor Denninghaus, Bordfunker in NJG, died 06.09.1944, picture and letter describing his loss, picture of burial http://www.stimbergstadt.de/Krieg/Ge...us-Theodor.htm Obgfr Franz Robert, shot down and died 15.01.42 in Crimea, picture provided http://www.stimbergstadt.de/Krieg/Ge...bert-Franz.htm People may be interested in the crash story in 1944, and the pictures too. It would also be nice to complete the story provided with the Luftwaffe usual loss details (unit, WNr, cause of loss) but I have not them for these men. |
