Question Spitfire units over Malta - 1942 (anyone?)

Could anyone please list Spitfire units which operated over Malta in 1942? Or direct to a good site on the subject. I'm still waiting for my books to arrive. Thanks in advance.

Re: Spitfire units over Malta - 1942 (anyone?)

The first was 249, followed by 126. 601 and 603 flew in from the USS Wasp in Operation Calendar. Later units equipped were 185 and 229, with 1435 Flight later becoming 1435 Sq.

Plus the odd PR aircraft.

However, one book already available is Malta: The Spitfire Year 1942, from the same publisher. Hopefully the new book will have some fresh information, but will heavily overlap with the one above and Spitfires Over Sicily.
