Re: 2nd Lt Bruce Lloyd H 363 FG
Alain,
It appears that Lt Lloyd Bruce was taken POW. There's such a record of him on the aad.archives.gov website. He was from Missouri. Groet, Leendert |

Re: 2nd Lt Bruce Lloyd H 363 FG
Hi Alain & Leendert !
2nd Lt. Lloyd M. Bruce, 363rd FG, U.S.Army-s/n O-804106 was indeed POW from May 11th, 1944 on. He was liberated in 1945. There is no entry in the KU- or J-files, which could be matching up with his landing in Belgium that day. All book sources give as lost-place "Marche". You may check by the MACR, if there are entries, concerning German LGK-reports. Best wishes ! Horst weber |

2nd Lt Bruce Lloyd H 363 FG
Hi Alain, Leendert and Horst,
The macr is mentioning northeast Marche - no information regarding German documents is included . A copy of the macr can be e-mailed, just ask ! The macr mentions as name 2Lt. Lloyd H. Bruce. Best regards from (another side of) Belgium. Luc Last edited by Luc Vervoort; 17th January 2008 at 19:25. Reason: Information about the name added |

Re: 2nd Lt Bruce Lloyd H 363 FG
Luc,
Fine, but all traces pinpoint 2nd Lt. Lloyd M. Bruce, Service-Number O-804106. He is also mentioned in the 363rd book by Nick Miranelli on page 5-69 as Lloyd M. Bruce. Best regards, Horst Weber |
