Unknown Luftwaffe Fuel Tank - Thoughts?
Hey guys...
Well...here is an odd one. I suspect for some sort of trainer...found in Eastern Europe. 72 grade fuel is really early low-grade...not the standard fuel type. It is welded aluminum, with a fabric covering...and painted. In addition...there is no spot for a fuel pump to mount... Thoughts? TIA Last edited by harrison987; 24th February 2018 at 22:20. |

Re: Unknown Luftwaffe Fuel Tank - Thoughts?
Looks like a high-wing, leading edge, civilian, gravity feed tank.

Re: Unknown Luftwaffe Fuel Tank - Thoughts?
What about a Fi156 Storch/ K-65 Cap wing tank? The position of the two (fuel line and socket for the gauge) outlets would make this a starboard (right) tank.
