Massive 1945 Kitzingen and Straubing photo collection

Folks,

Thanks to a pointer from Jaroslav Petracek over on LEMB today, I discovered an impressive collection of photos taken by former 510th Fighter Sqn during their stay in Germany.

Among them, the Sgt. Gardocki collection has no less then 764 photos including dozens of the wrecks found there, and even photos of H.-R. Rudel's Ju-87 G as it flies over Kitzingen before he ground loops it

The Landolt and Davis collection also have interesting pics, as the Drummond collection.

Apparently some of the Saint Dizier photos may have found their way in the Picauville group...notably a Bf 110G and a Si 204...

I published many of the Gardocki photos in WOTBC Number Three. As well, the Kitzingen Stukas were color profiled by Tom Tullis at the rear.

Rémi, pas de chance..

I tried to have a look, but no chance, the resolution is too small...

Mark,
to remain on the WOTBC issue, is there any chance to se here some of the Mühlheim - Mettendorf Bf 109's you published in WOTBC 7? If I'm not mistaken, most of those EJG 1 machines are given as elder G-6's, in contrast to the G-14 463 156 from the same unit shown at Salzburg - Maxglan.

Can you give us more information regarding those EJG 1 machines?

Many thanks in advance
Marc

Second that. Thanks for posting Marc!

PS: The text beneath the He 111 Werknummer reads "Mit Schleppvorrichtung" ("With towing equipment").
