3.(H)/21 June 1943

Hello friends,

According to all available data, in June 1943 3.(H)/21 (under command of NAGr10) was within Luftflotte 6.

But the GQM returns for 16.Jun.43 contains a loss off Charkow (the area of Luftflotte 4) and it listed among LF4 losses.

What does it mean?

Best regards,
Andrey

As far as I know Staffel flew for VII. Armeekorps of AOK 2 in July 1943 and the army operational area was on the border of HGr Mitte and South.

Re: 3.(H)/21 June 1943

Hello Pawel,

thank you!

As it turned out, AOK2 documents contain the operative reports (Tagesabschlussmeldungen) of NAGr10. 16.Jun were 5 sorties (2 FW189 and 3 Hs126) and no losses. Next day a FW189 was attacked by Russian fighters and had many hits, the air gunner was slightly WIA. So the attack against the Hs126 on 16.Jun (15% damages, observer Ofw Wilhelm Lang WIA) supposedly should be included in the operative report of NAGr10 for 16.Jun. But it isn't.

It look like a part of the 3.(H)/21 was leased to Luftflotte 4 so the missions of that part didn't mentioned in the operative report of NAGr10. Or the unit name in GQM returns (and probably in NVM) is wrong.

Best regards,
Andrey
