LW losses France, 6 July 1943
Can anyone give me details of the losses incurred by II/JG2 and 3./JG27 on this date. I believe they encountered the Northolt and Kenley Wings and suffered the loss of several aircraft. JG26 also lost two Fw190.
According to Caldwell JG26 WD 3./JG27 lost two Bf109 and had another damaged, with one pilot killed and another wounded. II/JG2 lost four Bf109, with one pilot injured. Can anyone identify the pilots and the types of Bf109? regards Keith |

Re: LW losses France, 6 July 1943
Many thanks chaps. It seems Uffz Herbert Körber, rather than Köhler, later claimed two viermots and survived the war.
