Re: Lt Kohlstrunk 9./KG3

Looking at our officer database, we have nothing on this fellow but a check of the Kracker archive reveals:

Kohlstrunk, Lt. 9./KG-3 Do 17Z Werk # 2645 (lost)Wound Badge, Bomber Operational ClaspWIC 20 December, 1940; crashed his Dornier at St Trond airfield. Source: A. Rosseels.

We hope that this helps.

Re: Lt Kohlstrunk 9./KG3

Greetings,

If he is the same person mentioned above, an Oblt. W. Kohlstrunk was flying with I./JG 2 from Großostheim airfield in an Fw 190 D-9 marked <I+. He is listed as flying eight combat missions between 18 and 23 March, 1945.

Re: Lt Kohlstrunk 9./KG3

I have Oblt Willi Kohlstrunk (born 24 Aug 18 in Meissen) with 1/JG 2 from 11 Jan 45. Age would fit but promotion from Lt to Oblt 4+ years would be very slow
