Interesting shots of a crashed Fw 200 of KG 40, 1945
Gentlemen,
on Ebay I just found this interesting auction: www.ebay.com/itm/THREE-RARE-PHOTOS-CAPTURED-GERMAN-AIRCRAFT-BOMBERS-Fw-200-WWII-WW2-/191576072465?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c9ad2 e111 It includes three photos of a crashed Fw 200, obviously belonging to KG 40, but carrying the code ??+AY. The location written on the backside of this photos looks like "Kölzig", but the only two villages with this name are situated deep inside eastern Germany. So no GI's there in July 1945... Any infos on this bird? Cheers, Christian |
