Which I could have told you straight away as I sent you the original scan.

However, after almost 100 emails from you which eventually led to me feeling that it was getting "a bit much", and informing you of this, you decided to drop all communication without so much as a "Thankyou" or a "Sorry" and then start asking for information on the forums.

Its good to know that the HUGE amount of information which myself and another member of this forum supplied you with on an almost daily basis is appreciated!!

Have a nice day.

Nigel

I never asked you for this particular photo and you've never sent it to me!

I really appreciate your and Peter's help, which I have expressed in my emails, just few examples below:
Nigel

Many thanks for your help again.”

“Again, many thanks for your help.”

Thanks a lot”

Gents

First of all: Peter, you've done such an amazing job! I was actually about to create similar list, but you have saved my time and - most importantly - made it very professionally.”

Gents

I really appreciate your effort. If you can help me with this pilot I'll be delighted.”

Your help would be appreciated.”

I didn't know that I'm not allowed to ask others. Each Forum is public and everyone has a right to post and ask for help. I have stopped emailing you as I felt my emails were a nuisance to you.

I have also sent you a lot of images, scans of log books etc and agreed for you to use them because I wanted the help to be mutual.

Its good to know that the HUGE amount of information which myself and another member of this forum supplied you with on an almost daily basis is appreciated!!

As I've explained above all your help was much appreciated which I have expressed many times in my emails.
I feel sorry that asking for help annoyed you and never thought that respectable Forum is a place for dealing with such matters!
Although I'm sad that you feel this way, the thank you note (as planned before) will still go in the book as below:
"A very special thanks to Nigel Julian and Peter Randall"

Peter.
The help was mutual to begin with. Agreed 100%, but you miss my point.

Yes, thanks for individual emails were recieved, but what grates is the manner in which you elected to completely cease email communications when I informed you that it was "getting a bit much".
At the end of the day there are only so many questions about what type of rear view mirror was fitted to a particular P-47 I can handle.

Hope the book does well, and good luck with the rest of your research.

I did not respond to your last email to respect your wish. I felt I was asking the specialist in this field, that's why my questions were so specific. Should I be asking about the weather or your private life? I have my inbox full of requests from the people who need help in different subjects and I never said "no" or ''it's getting a bit much" to anyone. History is all about asking and finding new information. Maybe that's just me...
I think this subject is not appropriate for the Forum.
