Met Flt actions and losses
This is from the book "Even the Birds were walking" on WW II RAF meteorogical operations I have some losses and actions I would like to find out more about:
Bay of Biscay: 8 Dec 41 Blenhiem Sgt Watson take off 0744 MIA 1404 met flt 18 Dec 42 Hudson F 1404 met flt F/Lt Moir and crew MIA 17 Aug 42 Hudson Z " damaged Ju88 23 Dec 42 Hudson X " damaged Ju88 3 Apr 43 Hudson T " missed by ju88 9 May 44 B-17 652nd "Heavy weather Sqn USAAF damaged beyond repair Ju88 |

08/12/41 Blenheim IV Z7370 of 1404 Meteorogical Flight at St. Eval went missing from an operational sortie. Sgt L.Watson, Sgt A.Hemming, Sgt R.A.Hamon and Sgt A.Bess are all commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

I. Cunliffe-listern & P/O Kervon both POW 16 Sep 43Mosquito IV XD-T 139 Sqn Cat e AA and Fw 190 Berlin operation F/O Joe panent and Sgt gilrdy 6 Nov 43Mosquito IX ML906-B 1409 Met Flt damaged Fw190 day op same crew as above |
