Hello ,

Would someone be so kind if the following info is correct / incorrect :

11 may1940 Ju 87 Wnr 0870387 2./Stg 2 Uffz Hahn Richard KIA /Uffz Werk Heinz KIA

11 may 1940 JU-87 Lt Dryander Siegfried POW - Uffz Chuchra Ernst KIA

12 may 1940 Ju-87 1./Stg 2 Wnr 5136 Uffz Basler Heinrich KIA.

2./StG 2 Hahn killed, Dryander captured no Wk Nr
2./StG 2 Werk & Churchra killed no Wk Nr


Stab I/StG 2 Basler killed, pilot baled out not named. Wk Nr 5136

I note that the crews , Hahn /Dryander nd Werk/CHurchra are mixed what is the original source for that, nd what it says ??

It would appear that the pilot for 12 May 40 was Gr Adj Oblt Dieter Pekrun who baled out safely. RK book confirms he baled out on Whitsunday 1940 and his BF was killed. Whitsunday was 12 May in 1940

Yes, Uffz Basler was the BF of Pekrun. They flew together since the start of the Polish campaign.
