Exclamation Lt Mondry JG26 KIA may 31 1943 in Belgium

Hello,

According to the Kracker archive Lt Mondry, Rolf Georg 7/JG-26 Fw 190A-5 Wnr 57303 "Black 14" was lost on 31 May, 1943 during aerial combat with a Spitfire of RAF No. 403 or 421 Sq. into the sea SE of Mariakerke Belgium. I have the village of Stene , a hamlet of ostend wich is south east of Mariakerke , the Northsea is west of Mariakerke wich is a coast village.

Regards

I believe the identity problem with Mondry has come up before . I have Fw Rolf Mondry of 7/JG26 WIA 5-May-1942 and Ltn Georg Mondry KIA Raum Mariakerque 31-May- 1943 . This would make Rolf Mondry the Spassvogel of 7th Staffel as vol 1 of the Donald Caldwell JG26 history .
