Thanks a lot for the pointer
Many thanks for your informations, Charles; I highly appreciate them. So we have a third Göttingen K-4 with W.Nr. 334809.

Cheers

Göttingen ... hmmm, I live in Göttingen and the former airfield was an flat area. Today there is an great public school (in one of the former hangars it's now an gymnasium, where my son played soccer), the rest of the area is an industry park. Somehow it doesn't fit with the situation on the picture ....

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

Thanks to Roy-Magne Mo, over on Bf 109 from Anton to Toni Group, FB, we have here a very nice footage from a training unit sending off either a Bf 109 G-6 or G-14, Winter 1944 - 1945.
https://tv.nrk.no/serie/filmavisen/F...3-1945#t=8m49s

Given the big black there digits numeral ("Schwarze 490") of the tactical markings, could this be a 2./JG 104 machine filmed whilst this Staffel was stationed at Roth, Winter 1944-1945 ?

Thanks in advance for your insights and thoughts
Marc

As far I know, only one picture of this plane has been published in Lw in Focus Special #3.
G-14, Schwarze 62, Finow Fl.Pl., Apr/May-45. Being towed by ox.
Only rear part of it.
Most probably it can be a three digit code "x62", and JG10x.
I don't know where you got the "Blue" code. But why not.

Regards,
Franck.

You can't believe all what you find on internet, even when drawings have been done by Anders.
As for JG110 ... Yes, it's a training unit but which one? That's what I wrote JG1xx. Nothing more.

Does anybody own this book to get a scan for me from the page 54 regarding the 109g-14 mentioned above?

I would appreciate it!

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

I almost missed this late war Bf 109 G among the current eBay offers:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ori...oq~:rk:10:pf:0

One can see under the right wing of the Fw 189 in the foreground, a low-visibility camouflaged Bf 109 G-10. The tactical marking being a "Schwarze 7" allows to link up this airframe to the one published by Hideki Noro in his 2009 "LO+ST", p. 175. It is captioned to be an Erla built Bf 109 G-10 W.Nr. 152 3?3 possibly photographed at Salzburg in May 1945.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/280920...-8RxGfG-8RuHzx

Scrutinising the published photo allows IMHO to read W.Nr. 152 033 rather then W.Nr. 152 3?3. Hence my three questions:

1. Any known W.Nr. in the 152 3xx range ?
2. Any information on W.Nr. 152 033 ?
3. Any positive identification for the airfield where those planes were found ?

Thanks in advance
Marc

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

Hi Marc,
Regarding your question #1, I’m at work away from my database files, but I can tell you that I have approximately eight other Erla-built Bf 109 G-10’s from within the 152 xxx series, and I believe all of them to be 152 0xx, i.e., below 152 100.
As to question #3, I believe the location to be Salzburg, Austria.
I will confirm the above when I get home.
Respectfully,
Steve Sheflin
