Pathfinder is on a distinguished road
Lee Archer's P-51C

Am I correct in assuming the zoot-suited character was only painted on the left (port) side of the P-51C 'INA The MACON BELLE' flown by Lt. Lee Archer of the 302nd FS? I have found some refs that suggest this and would just like to confirm it if I may?

Also, can anyone guide me towards diagrams or photos of the rear of the pilot's seat and radio; I only need a rough guide, not close-ups. Would like to see how high the seat came to the top of the canopy and also the exact shape.

One last thing: this P-51 didn't appear to have a rear-view mirror on the canopy; is this correct? I think not myself................

Regards
Pathfinder
