Help with hatch identification
Hello,
I have tried my best on my own. I watched this item for over a year, and finally decided to get it. I collect hatches. This one has me stumped, and the website I normally looked this stuff up has been shutdown. If you could please help me, I would be very grateful. Heinkel type latch, tabs on it I have never seen before. Maybe missing two tabs on the opposite end of the latch. Oval shape The length: 7.5" width: 4" There is a stamped number on the interior, best I can tell with 2 0 8 0 - ? 8 I will take additional photos if they are needed for identification |

Re: Help with hatch identification
Thank you, Did the Russians copy the Heinkel latch? I know Heinkel worked with them post WW1 with sea planes/catapults. |
