78 Sqn RAF

For anyone who has a personal interest in 78 Sqn Royal Air Force . . .

The current 78 Sqn are staging Exercise Halifax Shadow a Sqn Memorial Weekend at various location in Yorkshire from 4th - 7th June 2010.

All former members of 78 Sqn from any era of our operational past are invited to attend as are the families/relatives of the 979 78 Sqn personnel KIA/MIA whilst serving as part of 4 Group Bomber Command from either; Breighton, Croft, Dishforth, Middleton St George (AKA Durham Tees Valley) or Linton on Ouse. The 20+ personnel lost in flying accidents since the end of the war will also be remembered . . .

If any former members of 78 Sqn or relatives of those lost would like to attend, please contact me. Thanks

Tony H
