Hello
Front-Rep.Betr. GL 3256 (Jumo) What does it mean? This unit was in France in spring 1944. Best regards |

Re: Front-Rep.Betr. GL 3256 (Jumo)
I'd say the first bit is "Front-Reparatur [und] Betriebs..." So, Front Repair [and] Servicing" Something (company, platoon or whatever).
Taken together, it looks like a team of people who repaired and serviced Junkers engines at front-line units. |

Re: Front-Rep.Betr. GL 3256 (Jumo)
Betr. is just Betrieb or workshop/factory.
Somit´smonly Front-Reparatur Betrieb (front repair workshop/factory) Sometimes they are written as FRB or FRW (W = Werk/factory) Regards Dirk |
