Re: German aircraft photo

See here for more info. Pictured at Lyon-Bron, Can anyone read the Werk Nummer? It looks as if it may be 1119 (and it's captioned as that). If so, that's new information, so thanks Ed.

Re: German aircraft photo

Hi Nick,

I read 1119 on enlargement, no doubt.

Sorry Nick, on same page I read, in mentionned signals traffic, G-12 WNr. 360390: really?

Re: German aircraft photo

Nick,

Of course I have no doubts at all concerning the quality of your source; still 360390 seems out of any known range.

German clerks often made mistakes and the British faithfully deciphered them.

Possibly if one is living only in a Bf 109 world. Not if Ju 88 C-6 360390, that one had been in repair with JFM-FRB Paris-Villacoublay on 03.05.1944, and still there when damaged 25% in air attack on 20.05.1944. This possibly for transfer to Geschwader Bongart ?

Good suggestion Ed. What was your source for the Ju 88 at Villacoublay?
