485 Squadron - Collision 28 June 1941

I have a note of a collision between two aircraft of 485 Squadron over French coast on 28 June 1941. Both aircraft returned safely and landed at West Malling.

I can find nothing on this incident in the Squadron ORB and have not (yet) traced any damaged aircraft that may tie up.

Can anyone throw any light?

Re: 485 Squadron - Collision 28 June 1941

P7916 (OU-R) flown by P/O Dickie Barret collided with P7697 (OU-B) flown by P/O Charles Stewart on sweep to Calais-St. Omer. Both returned safely to base.

Obviously only mentioned in Stewart's log.
