Ju 188 loss , I/KG2

Hello ,

On 27/28 June 1944 a Ju 188 is reported lost north Rouen . Fw Möbius killed .
If a nice fellow could give whole crew and fate . Also WkN if known , and was it a A or E model ? Very important since an unidentified Ju 88/188 wreckage was found years ago near Buchy , Normandy , Jumo engines fitted .
Thank you ,
Zorglub .

Fw Möbius †
Uffz Dahmen verletzt, no more names.

Correction: the author of "Der Luftkrieg in Europa" is Ulf Balke, not Michael Balss.

Re: Ju 188 loss , I/KG2

Hello Zorglub,

loss category 15 means beschädigt / damaged, not Totalverlust / destroyed.
Loss category 14 was Bodenverlust, Totalverlust durch Erdwaffenbeschuß / destroyed on the ground by enemy gunfire from ground forces.

Leo
