ZD350D-1 FUEL PUMP

Hi!
Can anyone tell me which German aircraft engine was fitted with the Graetzin ZD 350 D engine fuel pump? This pump is mounted on the rear of the engine and takes the fuel from the aircraft fuel pipes to pressurise it and deliver it to the fuel injection pump or carburetor. I know that the DB 601 used the slightly larger ZD 500 B fuel pump but, I have not been able to find the engine(s) that the ZD 350 D was used on.
The pump was made by Ehrich & Graetz Berlin, probably in the early 1930's, possibly as early as 1928. The full type ref is ZD 350 D-1 and the military ref is
9-2001 D-1.
It is possible that this is a Diesel pump or, a petrol pump.
Any info or references would be appreciated.

Cheers

SM

These were mounted under the engine (not on the back). Would need to see a photo, but possibly DB600?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, on all the DB600/601/603/605 series production engines the Kraftstofforderpumpe is at the lower rear right flank, just higher than the waterpump. I did think DB600 was a possible application but, I do not have the detail of the pump that was fitted to the DB600 and the best photo's of the DB600 in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart look to show a ZD 500 B (9-2002 B) pump .
It is possible that the DB600 Luftfahrt-Lehrbücherei (Band 21) has details of the pump fitted but, I have not yet managed to obtain a copy of that document.
Thanks for the help, more info gratefully wanted!
Cheers

Also, the application(s) of the ZD 350 model is going to be covered in the specific engine manuals. I do hope that someone has some data on this.

Thought someone would know about Ehrich & Graetz Kraftstofforderpumpen?
Cheers!

Hello
The Graetzin pumps are somewhat described in the Ringbuch. Here what is written.

Thank you J Schreiber!
I see the attachments and I thank you for the info. Unfortunately, I still do not have a definite confirmation of which engine(s) used the ZD350. As I said before, the ZD500 versions were used on the most important DB 601/603/605 but, I cannot find an application for the ZD350.
If anyone can help with this question, please just say!
Best Wishes,

SM

9-2002 is for the DB605. Based on this, the 9-2001 will not be much different, if at all. It is probably DB600 or early DB601.
