Anton Maier, DKiG Holder
Gentlemen,
Anton Maier had flown 150 missions with HS-123 ground attack biplanes. He later flew 308 missions with HS-129 twin-engined attack planes. So far it was 458 combat sorties together. He won the DKiG on Nov. 26,1943 as a Feldwebel. Later in the war Maier was commissioned as a Leutnant. My question is how many combat sorties that Maier had flown before the end of WWII. How many tank kills in total before the end of that war? The information that I got so far is from the book "Hs 129 Panzerjager!" by Martin Pegg. Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |

Re: Anton Maier, DKiG Holder
I don't know whether it's the only Anton Maier, but this is all I have found in DeZeng and Stankey's database:
MAIER , Anton. (DOB: 05.01.10). 01.04.43 promo to Hptm. (Kr.O.). |
