B-17 crash

I'm trying to find more information about B-17 42-31715 from 306th BG which crashed in SE Scotland on 4 February 1944. I understand it had taken off from Drem but crashed with the loss of 7 lives. Would I be correct in assuming it had diverted to Drem? Why Drem, which was a grass aerodrome? Had it been on ops or a training flight? Does anyone have a list of the men killed? Any details at all about this aircraft and its loss would be much appreciated.
