19 Hurricane's left behind ?

Hello,


Anything new on the following 19 Hurricane's left behind in May 1940. Photographs of them in earlier service or of their wreckage ?


Apologies if they have been delt with on this or other forum's but if so a link to the info would be helpful, thank you.



The following are serial numbers taken from AB RAF Serial series books.


It seems that all were CCF aircraft to begin with but may well have passed to Squadrons "at the front" .

2700 -
2714 - Destroyed 30/5/40 by enemy action ?
2726-1 RSU.
2759 -
2816 -
2868 -
2969 -
2977 - Destroyed in Air Raid 6/40. Luftwaffe or Allied raid ?
3300 -
3364 -
3452 -
3455 -
3532 -
3533 -
3540 - Abandoned at Merville and captured 5/40 ?
3541 -
3543 - Missing 1/6/40 ?
3589 -

Am embarrassed
But even so no one else picked it up so perhaps not so bad
P3452 is an incorrect entry.
For some reason, perhaps interruption, old age, eyesight or just plain tired brain.
I checked my very old list and see that I did have P3452 which is incorrect. See my post " Grand National Winner lost".
Have readdressed the list and see that it should have read P3453.
Will now have to look at the other eighteen again

3540 - CFF - Abandoned at Merville and captured 5/40 ?
3541 - CFF - Lost in France 5.40.
3543 - CFF - Missing 1/6/40.
3589 - CFF - Damaged 11.6.40 and presumed abandoned.
