Re: Fw Hans Hahn I./NJG 2

Hello Chris,

are you sure Hahn was at KG 54 ?
Siegfried Radke doesn't name him in his book about KG 54. (As my brother told me, who owns the book.)

Re: Fw Hans Hahn I./NJG 2

Hello,

The crew Lt. H. Hahn, Uffz. E. Meissler and Uffz. H. Scheidt where all in the 9./KG 54 because they all had the same Erk.-M. 67475 = 9./KG 54.
Parts of the III./KG 54 under command of Staffelkapitän Karl Hülshoff became in July 1940 the 6./NJG 1 and shortly thereafter renamed in the 3./NJG 2.

regards,
René

Re: Fw Hans Hahn I./NJG 2

Hello René,

thanks. So 9./KG 54 is proofen.
(By the way, I'm astonished they had Erkennungsmarken numbered with a Combat- not their individual first Training Unit.)

Regards Daniel

It may not be the same Hans Hahn, but the attached—found in a search for something else entirely—might be of interest (HW5/541: CX/MSS/R256(C),47)
