20th May 1945 - RAF Lossiemouth

Does anybody have any info on a Wellington that crashed just before 10am on Sunday 20th May 1945 onto Church Street Lossiemouth.

11 civilians were killed, but can't see details on Aircrafr crew, aircraft no etc.

Aircrewremembered is in error about Rickard

Ronald Arthur RICKARD RAFVR, was involved in the following incident in the Middle East:

9/10 March 1943
No.40 Sqn
Wellington Ic AD651 "D"
Op:Palermo.

Aircraft ran out of fuel and in trying to ditch crashed in a coastal palm grove, 15km from Homs. Sgt Sprately is buried in Tripoli War Cemetery.

Sgt J Whale - Injured
Sgt R Rickard - Injured
Sgt P G Hartley - Injured
Sgt L A Turner - Injured
Sgt L Knight - Injured
Sgt J A Spratley +

So Rickard had an accident in 1943, then a fatal crash in Lossiemouth in 1945?
