Whirlwind photos
Not sure if these had been seen before or not? Posted on another forum,

I believe that this is P-7095 SF-H lost with Sgt Brown on 23.01.43

It is. Brown's cause of death was under unexplained circumstances which could possibly raise questions about his treatment after he force landed.
Obviously fairly rare images of a Whirlwind lost over France on ops. |

here are a couple of others first is HE-G the other is unknown to me

I believe the "other" is SF-H shown in my OP.

Hello,
These pictures appeared in the LEMB forum some years ago. In post five above the second photo with a mast in the background is Browns a/c "SF-H". The same mast can be viewed in other photos of his a/c. Alex |
