Re: German Ground Forces of World War II: Complete Orders of Battle for Army Groups, Armies, Army Corps, and Ot
This is not the same book. From the Stone & Stone site:
Great news from Savas Beatie: "Believe it or not, German Ground Forces is going to the printer this month! We expect to have copies in September." That means we can probably expect within about four months to see German Ground Forces of World War II: Complete Orders of Battle for Army Groups, Armies, Army Corps, and Other Commands of the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS, September 1, 1939, to May 8, 1945 by William T. McCroden and Thomas Nutter. |

Re: German Ground Forces of World War II: Complete Orders of Battle for Army Groups, Armies, Army Corps, and Ot
Quote:
This new works seems to be a cross between the multi-volume Nafziger project and Samuel W Mitcham's 3 volume OOB set. Will be interesting to see the level of detail it actually contains considering the Wehrmacht consisted of over 340 Divisions and over a hundred Corps and Armies so a page count of 624 doesn't seem much for what the description says it covers.
