Poldi Wenger
Dear All,
Leopold 'Poldi' Wenger was awarded the Knight's Cross, according to DeZeng and Stankey http://www.ww2.dk/Lw%20Offz%20-%20S-...Apr%202019.pdf and to this website https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmXoypizjW3WknF...ld_Wenger.html However, Obermaier does not mention him in his book 'Die Ritterkreuzträger der Luftwaffe / Jagdflieger'. Why? Or does he mention him anywhere else (maybe as a bomber pilot or something)? Thank you in advance. |

Re: Poldi Wenger
Dear Chris,
Thank you very much for your answer. By the way, could you, please, send me a scan of the page from Obermaier's book with Poldi's biography? I wouldn't like to buy the whole book just because of Poldi. :-) Thank you very much in advance. Best regards, Teresa |
