Do 17 Z-3 with Camera Fitment

Anyone know why a KG 2 Do 17 Z-3 seen at Zwöllfaxing in March 1941 has been fitted with a camera in the Bola? This is the only photo I have discovered so far but am sure there must be others out there

Chris, not sure why you mean "why". Not unusual. Or unusual for KG 2?

Re: Do 17 Z-3 with Camera Fitment

The Do 17 Z-3 was developed to serve as "Stabsstaffelerkunder" so that the bomber units could monitor the effect of their own missions before, during and after these were flown.
