Clint Eastwood Ditching 30 Sept 1951
Private Clint Eastwood (now actor and director) was getting a lift in a Douglas AD-1Q dive bomber that crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the Point Reyes Peninsula near San Francisco on 30 Sept 1951. The pilot was Naval Lt, (jg) P. C. Anderson. Eastward swam to shore and Anderson paddled to shore. The plane ran out of fuel in fog
Can anyone identify the serial and Anderson? Of course Eastwood is now the director of Sully the film about true Hudson ditching Thanks Paul Last edited by paulmcmillan; 3rd December 2016 at 00:56. Reason: Typo on name
