aerial combat: Bf109 (Kruse) vs P38 (Prout Jr.) 29.3.1944
Hello,
my name is Enea and i live in Italy (15 Km. to north of VICENZA). I'm very interessed to the story of aerial combat: Gunther Kruse (Bf109) and Thomas P.Prout Jr. (P-38). I'm looking for photos or informations about mimetizzation colours and heraldry of the: BF109 G-6 w.n.162505 - Stab.I./JG53. P-38 of Thomas P.Prout (info?). Someone to help me? Foto? Thanks. The p-38 of Thomas P.Prout Jr. (on support of B-25 in mission from PUGLIA(Italy) to BOLZANO = 29.3.1944) it has made fire on the Bf 109 of Gunther Kruse (Stab.I./JG53). I have found light little pieces, rests, of its BF109 with my Metal Detector. Thanks. Please, excuse for my English.
