Wild Boar?

I am trying to determine what brought down Lancaster ED 836 WS-C from 9 Squadron RAF, on the night of 7/8 October 1943. It crashed close to the French border at Kiechlingsbergen.
Does anyone have access to Luftwaffe Records that may help please, could it have been a 'Wild Boar' aircraft?
There was only one survivor from the aircraft, the Air Bomber, Pilot Officer William Chadwick who was captured and sent to StalagLuft III.
Any help would be much appreciated.
