ID this JU-52?

Can anyone help ID this JU-52? It appears there might be a W. Nr. on the tail but it is tough to make out. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: ID this JU-52?

Don't you just hate this type of photo - WNr. clearly evident, but unreadable? Begins with a '6' - maybe? Code appears to maybe be 'G6+G?'. Nothing for this code in my db.

Re: ID this JU-52?

Yes I do hate it. When I looked at it I thought perhaps 5060 but...

Re: ID this JU-52?

Not the same aircraft, but I found this Ju52/3m in my database file with a possibly close WNr. and similar code:

5074 G6+UH 10./TG 4 44/06/07 Obora, 16 km N Plzen ((Pilsen), Western Bohemia

Hi Rémi,

My records credit this forum as the source and only show it as crashing on 44/June/07.

Chuck
Chuck
5060 was operated by Lufthansa Peru, and was confiscated by the Peruvian Government when WWII stared so you can rule this one out
