Re: eBay: One never seen (?) Me 262 photo.
Hello folks,
Remembering that Franck can't follow LEMB, here is what Karl posted on this picture, 20 June: "This is WNr.170312 already disassembled at Frankfurt/Main Airport. Many photos show her parked at the wooded border of the airstrip without jet units, ammunition and bombs lying around. This plane was damaged on 19th Feb. 45 (15%) when Hauptmann Rossberg, I./KG51, rolled into a bomb crater after transferring her from Giebelstadt. Maybe parts of this Me262 were shipped to USA together with WNr111711, which landed here with test Pilot Hans Fay surrendering to the US." Cheers Marc |

Re: eBay: One never seen (?) Me 262 photo.
Thank you guys for your help.
An A-1a/Jabo then. I have two dates for her: damaged on 19-Feb-1945 and destroyed on 27-Mar-1945. Is it correct? Best regards, Franck. |
