All,
I am trying to find the first names of these 2 officers. I know little about their service. W. Thomas - 23 Squadron in 1941, I believe he became a POW later in the war. His crew were KIA. R. Wardell - Believe he was 35 Squadron in 1939. Sorry for the lack of information and grateful if someone can help. Thanks Danny

37140 Richard Neville Wardell was a POW 13 Aug 40 with 82 Sqn. 60824 Plt Off William Edward Thomas was shot down with 23 Sqn and taken POW 1 Sep 41. Both retired from the RAF with the rank of Wg Cdr and latter, OBE AFC, retired to the Algarve
