I agree, we all owe you guys a big debt of gratitude, as your list is a great resource. However, there are still a couple of errors in my uncle's (Major Dr. Ochs) entry. He was never CO of a wing of JG1, and he was promoted Major in April, 1941, not 1944.

Wildcats or Martlets [/b]??? I do not remember Beaufighters with the FAA, rather with Coastal Command, but I must be wrong...am not familiar...maybe some experts on FAA can correct me....

You are correct. 811 was flying Wildcat IVs at the time. The Ju 290 was shared by a pair of RNZNVR pilots, namely, Lt.(A) William Clifford Dimes in FN252 (R) and Lt.(A) Erik Sven Erikson in FN168 (Q).
