9th AF Maintenance Records
Hi
Does anyone know if the maintenenace records for a specific unit would have been kept/archived somehere in the states or were thet destoryed along with thousands of other records from all countries in the 50's/60's and 70's. Would be interesting to know if these records do survive as there is a specific P47 I am researching that was damaged on a number of accasions and in one instance a wing was replaced. Also when was an engine changed? Servicing was every 100hours? Am not sure about engine replacements though? If anyone knows more about where maintenance records survive, can they please let me know. regards MS |
