Hi Alain,

below the updated entry of TBoFtaN, based on all known information:

May 10 8./KG54 Heinkel He111P-2 (2458). Shot down by P/O Hemingway of No.85 Squadron and possibly also attacked by P/O Parrott of No.607 Squadron during sortie to attack Wevelgem airfield. Belly-landed and burned out alongside the Abtsulstraat at Hulste “Hoog Wallegem” (Belgium) 7.30 p.m. BO Gefr Gerhard Mühlenbrink, BF Gefr Heinz Karing, and HS Gefr Paul Groß all killed, FF Uffz Walter Zenner captured unhurt. Aircraft B3+DS 100% write-off.

Cheers, Pieter
