FW200 KG40 F8+DL 3./KG40

I recently purchased a copy of Chris Goss' book on FW200 Units, and it raises a question for me. I will admit at this stage I have not read every word.
Print Scale decals (not the most reliable wrt research and accuracy) have decals for F8+DL and claim it was flown by Bernhard Jope in February 1941. The information sheet contains 2 photos of the a/c, one of which has Jope reporting his mission to his CO with F8+DL in the background.
Chris' book has the same 2 photos, but makes no link of this a/c to Jope.
So, did Jope fly this Condor, or have the Print Scale people jumped to conclusions because Jope and the a/c are in the same shot?
Thanks
Peter

Re: FW200 KG40 F8+DL 3./KG40

Jope did fly F8+DL 19.02.41 from Bordeaux to Stavanger, "130 km nord der Hebridien" he saw an cargo ship.
Goss has the mission reports of 3./KG 40 (1941/42), and I do too, so info is correct. He flew it back some days later.
This can have been Fw 200 C-3/U2 (ExtraLongRange) SG+KT Luftwaffe - F8+DL 3./KG 40 (France) W.Nr. 0044
(this had code F8+DL when crashed in November 1941, but can have been an earlier plane and same code used again on 0044.)

The captions in my book do link this to Jope for these dates (out on 19 Feb 41, back on 21 Feb 41) but this was not his personal plane as there were too few Fw 200s to go round. As to the decals, as Ed says, it could be a later F8+DL as well as this one
