Fi156 V2 - W/Nr.602 with Fieseler Werke from it's 1st flight 07.36 to 09.39. Also tested at Est Rechlin from 09.36 to early 1939. I have no other records past this but there must be more. Karl Kossler is the expert and he wrote several brilliant articles on this aircraft.

Presume this was D-IGLI? Has Karl been active of late?

Yes Chris you are correct. Not certain about Karl but I have not heard anything about him for many years.

Re: Storch Fates

Karl is now in his mid 90s. His wife passed away a few years ago. Understandably, he is no longer engaged in active research.

Re: Storch Fates

You're welcome. Karl is someone I look up to immensely and am fortunate enough to have had a good relationship with him over the years.

My good friend Christoph Regel told me that Karl attended the annual meting at the Luftfahrtmuseum at Hannover-Laatzen in April and was in good spirits so long may this continue.

We are all getting on and from what I can see, the members of the ADL are no exception to this.
BTW was D-IGLI V2 or V3?

Re: Storch Fates

Karl has it recorded as the V2 in his Modell Magazin article (3/77).
