looking for allied plane crew canadians

i am looking for info on a plane with crew of canadians crashed between Lustin and Maillien close to profondville belgium.
any info would be appreciated

You may be after Halifax DT487 of 405 Squadron, shot down by a night fighter t near Lesve in the night of 2/3 Sep 1942. All Canadian crew killed (8 men).

Hello Leendert,

Halifax III NP744 of 408 Sqn is closer as it crashed on the 2nd November 1944 between Lustin and Maillen...

the reason why i am interested is that a eldery man have asked me this , coz he has no computer and remember something of a bomber with canadians that crashed in his area.
any info would be appreciated

but that halifax that crashed closer was that crew also Canadians?and also K.I.A ?

Squadron 408
X1D EQ-X
Operation Düsseldorf
2nd November 1944
Airborne 1618 2Nov44 from Linton-on-Ouse. Cause of loss not established. Crashed 2212 behind the Allied lines. Those killed are now buried in the Leopoldsburg War Cemetery. The injured were admitted to the US Army 50th Field Hospital.
