Question Bristol Blenheim 14/05/1940 to identify

Bonjour,

I have found on a Blenheim crash site a tube with this number painted in white: 19047.

Is it an engine number?

This aircraft made by Rootes factory was shot down on May 14th 1940 near Sedan.

Thank you for any suggestion.
