Thanks in advance! |

Re: III./SG.3
Hi Urusut,
I have a Flugbuch for Walter Romer of 9/SG3 (if that's any help?), I'm just having it translated at the moment but he was shot down on 25 Feb 44 and flew Feindflug (213 missions) pretty much constantly between 5 Jul 43 and when he was shot down. I've got a fantastic chap translating it as we speak and if you're interested pm me and I'll send you any details when I get them. I take it you're aware about the two books in German on SG3 "Mal oben, Mal unten" by Erhard Jahnert? This what Matti Salonen previously found out about the crash for me: Quite probably Uffz Walter Römer: 1944-02-25, 9./SG 3, Ju 87 D-5, 141099, 4 km südlich Tschutaschag (Pl.Qu. 4777), Notlandung infolge Flakbeschuß. Bruch ? %. Flugzeugführer Uffz Römer, Walter, verletzt Bordfunker Uffz Rohr, Johannes, verletzt |
