5.2.1941 - luftwaffe claims and losses during day

Hi all,

I´m looking for info about Luftwaffe claims and losses during day.

From my searching, I have 8 losses during Circus 2 in area St.Omer.

Thanks

From what I can see, the Germans suffered just the one ac damage in combat from 8./JG 3. Claims were five Spitfires and a Hurricane by I./JG 3, five Hurricanes and three Spitfires by III./JG 3 and a Spitfire by 4./JG 26

Re: 5.2.1941 - luftwaffe claims and losses during day

Hi all,

Chriss - thanks a lot for answer, from my another source (JG3 Aces from Osprey),I have a info, that JG 3 has just 1Bf 109E damaged.

This fight could be split to 2 separated period and areas:
claims of I./JG3 in area of NW St. Omer - probably the 1st attack
claims of III-/JG in area of Calais

I have some photos of crashed Spitfires from old e-bay and i try to match them to RAF losses.

Sme info (and same photos like my) are in these links:

http://www.aircrewremembered.com/hill-geoffrey.html

Any info about this engagement from both sides are welcome.

Thanks Faenor
