Lt. R. R. BALLINGER, American pilot
Hello,
On the wall of a cell of the Angers's jail (West of france), was found the following writing "American pilot - Lt. R. R. BALLINGER, 4/1/1944". Could somebody give me any information about this pilot whose aircraft crashed, possibly in France, late in 1943 or very early in 1944 ? - unit - aircraft - date and cause of the loss - mission - fate of the other crewmen (if other crewmen) Many thanks Pierre |
