B-17 crashlanding at A-87 Charleroi Belgium april 5 1945
Hello ,
On april 5 1945 B-17 44-8430 - SO-, “ RECALL” from the 384BG/547BS made a crashlanding due to substantial damage from mid-air collision with 43-37843 in bad weather, on returning from mission at A-87 Charleroi Belgium. Can someone help me with the crewnames . I have the following names : Cpt Charles Allyn Lewis “ Allyn “ O-778856 pilot S/Sgt Frank R Adams 38630294 ball turrett gunner 1st Lt George Warlick Cathey O-422156 pilot Capt Charles E Griffin Jr “ Spider “ O-555619 bombardier Regards Alain57 |

There is a sortie report on the 384th BG website. Some names do not agree with yours.
